TAMPA, FL — May 16, 2026 — Najibo joined the Hispanic Professional Women’s Association (HPWA) for its 2026 Annual Scholarship Awards Gala at TPepin’s Hospitality Centre in Tampa, providing live entertainment alongside her band for an evening dedicated to education, mentorship and achievement.

The annual celebration supports Hispanic women pursuing higher education and recognizes the students, mentors and community members who contribute to HPWA’s mission. In 2026, the organization awarded a record $50,000 in scholarships to 20 students — the largest group of scholarship recipients in its 36-year history.

Najibo and her musicians performed throughout the celebration, bringing live music to an evening that gathered scholarship recipients, professionals and community leaders from across the Tampa Bay area.

The appearance was especially aligned with an event centered on opportunity, professional advancement and the accomplishments of Hispanic women in the community.
