ST. PETERSBURG, FL — Najibo was selected by the Tampa Bay Rays to perform the U.S. National Anthem during Venezuelan Heritage Night at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Florida.


The special presentation took place as the Tampa Bay Rays faced the New York Yankees, bringing Venezuelan heritage into the ballpark experience and creating a meaningful moment for the Venezuelan community in attendance.


For Najibo, a Venezuelan-American artist whose career has developed across cultures and audiences in the United States, performing the National Anthem on a night celebrating Venezuelan heritage carried a special significance. The appearance brought together an important part of her heritage with another milestone in her professional performance career.


Najibo’s performance of “The Star-Spangled Banner” was presented from the field at Tropicana Field ahead of the game.
